I grew up in Greenville, Indiana. My family moved to Floyds Knobs, Indiana my Junior year of high school. I graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. I was hired in 2000 by the New Albany Floyd County School System to teach 7th-grade Geography at Floyd Central Jr./Sr. High School. I moved from Floyd Central to Highland Hills Middle School the first year HHMS opened. I LOVE MY JOB!! I love the people I work with and the students I get to interact with every day.
I have been married for 27 years. I have 3 daughters and two dogs. I love the outdoors. I enjoy camping, fishing, kayaking, walking, reading, and just sitting and watching birds from my front porch. I attend Christ Community Church where I am involved with our youth programs.
